Dr. Frank Swinton, Consultant Anaesthetist - Airedale General Hospital

Frank Swinton is a Consultant Anaesthetist from the UK. He is currently studying for a Masters degree in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability and should graduate in June 2018. He has been involved in local, regional and national level changes towards sustainability in the UK health system for many years.

Dr. Jodi Sherman,  Physician Anesthesiologist - Yale University Hospital

Jodi Sherman is a Physician Anesthesiologist. She has been involved in sustainability for many years and has had a large influence through her academic work. She is an associate professor of anesthesiology and epidemiology in environmental health sciences at Yale University Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut, USA.

Linda Chapman, Charge Nurse Manager - Auckland District Health Board

Linda Chapman is a New Zealand Registered General & Maternity Nurse with a Post Basic Theatre Course Certificate & Midwifery Registration from New South Wales Australia where she was employed for 12 years. She is presently working in Auckland NZ as a Charge Nurse Manager in Paediatrics at the Starship Childrens Health Operating Rooms, specialising in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) Head & Neck surgery and Oral Health, with a particular interest in multidisciplinary team communication and quality improvement. She is an active member of the Auckland District Health Board Sustainability Committee with a passion to reduce hospital waste & increase recycling in the Operating Rooms.

Manjula Sickler, Sustainability Manager - Auckland District Health Board  

Manjula Sickler, Sustainability Manager at Auckland District Health Board is a CA member of Institute of Chartered Accountants and has 15 years health sector experience. During this time Manjula has been involved with policy development, funding, Ministry of Health Board submissions, governance framework, Older People Services, Home based support services, national payment systems, hospital operations, Non-Government organisation contracts and inter-sector collaboration (Central and Local Government agencies).   As Sustainability Manager, Manjula has established an extensive sustainability programme at Auckland DHB with a focus on waste minimisation and developing the principles of the circular economy. She has driven the PVC sustainability programme throughout Auckland DHB which has resulted in almost 9 tonnes of PVC being diverted from landfill and re-made into playground mats. The success of this one initiative has resulted in other waste recycling streams and initiatives at Auckland DHB.
