Opening keynote: Partnerships and solutions for sustainable healthcare

Hospitals and health centres should be anchors for sustainability and leaders in the global movement for environmental health and justice. Sustainability is not a “fringe” issue for healthcare: it means improving our communities and should therefore be part and parcel of the strategic direction of healthcare and integrated into important business initiatives of hospitals.
