Pre-conference events

We are working together with Radboudumc and local partners from Nijmegen to offer unique opportunities for participants with a number of pre-conference events that will take place on Wednesday morning (10th October) before CleanMed Europe 2018 starts. Through these events we will give you the chance to discover innovative solutions, local projects, and learn more about the European Green Capital for 2018.

  • River Project - Nijmegen City Council
    This guided tour of the Dutch award-winning architecture project of 2017 will give you the opportunity to see how Nijmegen is dealing with climate change by giving more room to the Waal river. A great example of how cities can adapt to climate change through innovation and design. Learn more about the project here

    Experience the beauty of the Human Body in an unique setting during this special guided tour. Learn more about the museum here
  • Sustainability and Design Thinking
    In this interactive workshop you will learn how to apply design-thinking when creating sustainable solutions and innovations.

In an effort to reduce our paper consumption we are providing participants with smaller and more compact programmes that will be printed on reusable notebooks so participants can continue to use them after the conference.
As part of our efforts to make CleanMed Europe as sustainable and carbon neutral as possible, this year we are happy to provide participants with the opportunity to borrow a bike at no additional cost!
