Join us at CleanMed Europe from 10-13 June 2025, as we invite your contributions to shape impactful discussions and share inspiring case studies.

Highlighting the theme, Redefining Healthcare, this event presents an opportunity for healthcare leaders — including professionals, academics, and sustainability experts from across Europe — to share their knowledge and expertise.
Together, we will explore solutions that ensure sustainability is woven into every healthcare policy, practice, and culture.
We are seeking proposals that will:
- Motivate healthcare professionals with best practices and innovative solutions
- Inspire creativity and action in healthcare facilities
- Advance environmental sustainability initiatives
- Highlight the importance of collaboration
- Embrace diverse voices and experiences
Submission guidelines
Proposals should align with this year’s theme, Redefining Healthcare, and the mission of Health Care Without Harm (HCWH) Europe. We encourage submissions that provide actionable insights, share best practices, or highlight innovative research findings that participants can directly apply to their healthcare settings. Submissions must not be used for commercial purposes.

Scientific posters (2-page PDF shown in our Virtual Gallery)
New for 2025, we will include a Scientific Poster Gallery, allowing participants to display a scientific PDF poster promoting a sustainable project or evidence-based solution for all attendees to view, comment on and even download and share! All posters will be available online throughout the conference platform, allowing participants to browse them at their convenience.
Submission format:
- Each poster should consist of two pages:
- Cover page: Title of the poster, names of authors, and their affiliations.
- Content page: Main findings presented with visuals such as graphs, charts, images, and key data points.
Content guidelines:
- Posters should present clear and focused research, highlighting key results, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Use visuals strategically to communicate complex data in a simple and engaging way.
- Keep the text concise, focusing on essential information.

Submissions will be reviewed by the CleanMed Europe team, and successful submissions will be notified in advance of the conference date. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer any feedback on unsuccessful applicants, although we may reach out to you to participate in other CleanMed or HCWH Europe events.
