Impact in 2025

In 2025, CleanMed Europe delivered impact through two major events. The flagship online conference in June welcomed over 420 participants from across Europe and beyond to explore how healthcare can integrate sustainability into daily practice. Discussions focused on empowering professionals, engaging leadership, greening supply chains, and reducing single-use plastics – themes that resonated widely across our international community.

Later in the year, CleanMed Barcelona built on this momentum with an in-person regional conference co-hosted by Fundació Sanitaria Mollet and ECODES. Held in October in Barcelona, Spain, it addressed sustainability challenges specific to the Spanish healthcare sector and strengthened collaboration and local engagement through unique pre- and post-conference activities.
